Glass Balustrading Installed in Clayton-le-Woods, Chorley

Glass Balustrading

This was a domestic project for a lovely home in the village of Clayton-le-Wood in Chorley, Lancashire.

The customer wanted to refresh their existing elevated deck, which is located on the first floor of their home. Leading out from the master bedroom, the balcony offers a large area from which to soak up the views of the expansive Lancashire countryside.

They wanted the balcony to have a minimum impact on the view from indoors, which is where glass balustrading is the perfect option.

Glass balustrading added a sleek touch to the family home

Carter Fabrications came to survey the area and recommended a glass balustrade. With a sleek appearance with minimum intrusion on the view, it was an ideal option for the large family home.

We fitted 12mm glass panels along the edge of the decking, fitted into an aluminium channel for extra security and drainage. The glass was capped with a 42mm rail running the length of the glass.

Client Feedback

“Hello Karl and Zane,

Myself and Rhian just wanted to say what a great job you have done on our balcony at Lords Croft.  Everything has been spot on, especially the quality of it all and the fitting on the day by Zane and Jamie.

It looks brilliant, cheers!”

Dan and Rhian Campbell.
